Autonomous Regions of Spain This map shows the 17 different autonomous regions of Spain, including their locations. The key shows historical recognition for each region. As you can see, some of the regions relate to each other, given that they are the same color on the map. The similar colors seem to be in the same general area of each other, most likely related to the resources available there and the climate.
